The ZEFES project will run for 3,5 years and will contribute to the aims

Van Eck’s Eckstreme Series Twindeck vehicles are the benchmark for the
industry. Built with exceptional quality and high functionality in every
detail, Van Eck Twindecks are the most efficient way of cargo transport
with 60% more loading capacity as a result decreasing fuel consumption and
CO2 emission by 40%.
A twindeck is a semi-trailer with independent axle design. Due to its
innovative upper structure, you can load in two floors up to 1820 mm high
roll-containers or 1820 mm high euro-pallets, enabling to carry in total 55
euro pallets in one trip.
Due to its unique design, Eckstreme series Twindeck trailers provide you
with the best TCO compared to regular box vehicles with return of
investment performance in 1 year.
At IAA Transportation 2024, Van Eck Trailers will be exhibiting the
Twindeck with movable floor, manufactured according to the use case
scenarios and safety standards of its customer.
Van Eck twindeck movable is one of its kind in the industry, as Van Eck is
the only manufacturer that can offer full length movable floor. The
moveable floor with 15 tons loading capacity enables you to load directly
to the 2nd deck of the Twindeck to reduce the loading and unloading time.
Furthermore, depending on the cargo height, movable floor can move up and
down to 600 mm to provide flexible loading height for the various dock
stations.
Furthermore, the exhibition vehicle is equipped with Trailer Innovation
2023 winner in category component, the <Eck Container Locker System.
Eckpress Series: Cutting Edge Engineering for Safe and Secure Oversized
Air Cargo Loads
Van Eck, as the reliable partner of air cargo logistics sector, offers
plywood box, FNA and FRC certified box, curtainsider and platform air cargo
vehicles with driving unit applications.
As result of extensive experience in air cargo transport operations, Van
Eck air cargo vehicles have the most robust chassis construction to
overcome the demanding air cargo pallet loading and unloading operations
and to enable the transport of safe and secure oversize air cargo loads.
At the IAA 2024, Van Eck Trailers will be exhibiting its platform series,
especially developed for advanced technology logistics such as aero engines
and chip making devices.
Developed in collaboration with its market leading customer to achieve
highest load stability, operational ease, and safety, the vehicle is
equipped with three “air bag engine lifting systems” that can facilitate
safe and secure lifting operations. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped
with six rows of state-of-the-art <Eck rollers and seven driving units,
strategically positioned to accommodate different engines weighing up to 18
tons.
